As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible to provide first and second line IT support, as well as IT administration and maintenance duties in our busy environment.

Your tasks will include:
  • Providing effective and friendly first and second line support to all (internal) users during our core operating hours
  • Resolve support issues on Mac and Windows devices, including desktop applications.
  • Phone and network system management
  • Maintain existing, and deploy new desktop systems as required
  • Proactive management of the IT infrastructure including the monitoring of server systems (Linux, Windows)
  • Identify possible issues and escalate if necessary
  • Update internal infrastructure and inventory documentation
  • Administer cloud-based accounts (Atlassian, GitHub, Google, etc.)

  • At least 2 years IT support and service desk experience
  • Team player who is able collaborate in an international team and who can communicate ideas and solutions clearly
  • A good understanding of Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems, client-server networks and Microsoft Office applications is required
  • Network infrastructure experience with switches, routers, Wi-Fi and servers
  • Basic understanding of virtualization (Basic concepts, tools, server and desktop virtualization)
  • Knowledge of SaaS systems like Atlassian collaboration tools and Google Suite

Either one of the following is a nice to have:
  • Prior experience in a FinTech company
  • IT related degree/certificates like MCSA
  • Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Programming/Software Development experience
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Knowledge of network security challenges e.g. permission management
  • German language skills

Either one of the following is a nice to have:
  • Good understanding of monitoring and performance analysis
  • Knowledge of other languages like JavaScript (node.js) or Java
  • Experience in distributed message queueing systems like Apache Kafka
